After the launch of the all-new generation of Cadillac Escalade, Lincoln reacted quickly and updated its flagship SUV already for the 2022 model year. This update brought a lot of notable changes, starting from a new styling, new interior details, new technology features etc. That’s why we are pretty sure that the current generation is about to remain in production for a few more years. This also means that the 2023 Lincoln Navigator will come without more important changes.
So, you may count on familiar design characteristics. This SUV has so much to offer, starting from a spacious and very luxurious cabin, and a very long list of standard equipment. Furthermore, we like its peppy twin-turbo V6 engine, as well as its smooth and comfortable ride. On the other hand, the biggest complaint goes to maneuverability, but that’s the problem that troubles other full-size SUVs as well.

Range-topping models also come with Active Glide, which is a semi-autonomous driving system, designed to match GM’s Super Cruise.
Interior
The 2023 Lincoln Navigator interior will also continue in the same way, without notable changes. The recent update has brought new materials and color schemes, as well as a bigger infotainment screen. So, we could see that the dashboard looks very attractive and that it should remain fresh-looking in the following years. The overall quality is pretty impressive, even when compared with class leaders, such as Mercedes-Benz GLS and Cadillac Escalade.

Of course, we could see a couple of additions to the list of standard and available features. Still, most of the things are about to remain the same. So, all models should come standard with goodies like a 13.2-inch touchscreen with the new SYNC4 infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 5G Wi-Fi hotspot, 14-speaker sound system, satellite radio, wireless charging, USB ports in all rows etc. Additionally, you can get upgrades like a 28-speaker Revel Ultima 3D stereo, dual-screen rear-seat entertainment system, a panoramic sunroof etc.
Base models will come with a long list of standard safety features. Some of the highlights will be goodies like a rearview camera, front and rear parking sensors, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane keep assist.
2023 Lincoln Navigator Engine
Even though some sources speculate about a hybrid version of the 2023 Navigator, we are pretty sure that the company will leave electrification of the next-generation model. So, the next year’s model will most likely continue with a familiar 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6, which puts out around 440 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque. Obviously, these numbers ensure strong acceleration and overall performance, which is comparable with other models in the class. The max towing capacity is where this luxury SUV really shines, as it can tow up to 8.700 pounds.
The engine comes in pair with a 10-speed automatic transmission, which is smooth and shifts on time. When it comes to fuel economy, you may count on about 16 mpg in the city and 22 mpg on the highway in the standard RWD setup. Models with all-wheel drive are slightly thirstier.
