Of course, we are talking about a familiar 2.8-liter turbodiesel, which is good for 181 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. Unlike the V6, this engine comes coupled with a 6-speed automatic transmission. As you can see, this engine has plenty of torque, which is great for off-roading. It’s also great in terms of towing, though this version can’t use its full potential, due 4WD layout and off-road suspension.
ZR2 Bison Package
We expect that the next year’s model will continue to be available with the Bison package. Compared to the standard ZR2 model, this package adds several interesting features. Some of them are unique bumpers with winches and tow hooks, unique fender flares, exclusive color options, new 17-inch wheels, contoured floor liners, skid plates, and fog lamps. We expect that the 2022 Chevy Colorado ZR2 will hit the market sometime in the last quarter of the year. When it comes to the price, the Extended Cab model should go around 42.000 dollars. The Crew Cab model will cost around 43.500 dollars.
