2021 Ford F-350 Super Duty: Specs, Features, Trim Levels, Price

The current generation of Ford’s Super Duty models has been around for a while but it still has a lot of things to offer, whether it’s about capabilities or performances. Therefore, there is no doubt that the 2021 Ford F-350 will remain competitive, despite that key rivals are slightly younger. This model offers excellent capabilities, whether it’s about towing or hauling, while certain versions are also quite fun to drive. Of course, a typical drawback for a vehicle like this is a bumpy ride when empty, while some critics say it starts to look outdated. In any case, it is a great choice if you need a 1-ton pickup truck.

For this year, the Blue Oval Company hasn’t brought too many novelties. There are some new color options in the offer, but the overall design remains the same. We should also mention things like a bed sidestep or towing mirrors, which are now available in lover trims.

2021 Ford F-350 Design

When it comes to base design characteristics, the 2021 Ford F-350 comes without more important changes. The current generation has been around for a while and still offers solid capabilities. Moreover, you may also count on aesthetics that seem attractive enough, even though we have to say that some rivals look better from the outside, especially the new Chevy Silverado 3500HD.

On the inside, you may count on a typical Ford approach, which means that the dashboard doesn’t look particularly fancy, but does the job. It may feature mostly hard plastics, but offers good ergonomics and high level of overall functionality. Of course, you may count on a variety of configurations, including single, dual and crew cab layouts, as well as different bed sizes.

2021 Ford F-350 Engines

Under the hood, the 2021 Ford F-350 continues in a familiar way. There are three engines in the offer, which starts with a familiar  6.2-liter V8 gasoline unit, which puts out around 385 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque. It’s far from the most capable engine in the class but gets the job done, especially if you aren’t too ambitious when it comes to towing.

If you need something more capable but still want the smoothness of a gasoline engine, there is a new 7.3-liter V8, which features a max output of  430 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque.

Finally, there is the famous 6.6-liter Power Stroke turbodiesel V8, which received an update recently and once again features class-leading numbers. It is good for about 475 horsepower and magnificent 1.050 pound-feet of torque. Besides impressive towing capabilities, models with this engine are also quite fast. For example, you will need about 7.2 seconds to get to 60 mph. When properly equipped, models with this engine can tow over 35.000 pounds.

All engines come in pairs with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
